Every donation enters the permanent waqf fund. Principal is preserved. Returns support trainees. Repaid loans re-enter the cycle. Forever.
MedWaqf, Inc. is a Virginia nonstock nonprofit corporation; federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is pending. Indicate your intent to give one-time, recurring, or via Zakat-eligible designation, and our team will follow up to complete the gift through wire transfer, donor-advised fund, corporate match, or other channel.
Because MedWaqf is structured as an endowment — not a pass-through charity — roughly 90% of each donation is invested to grow the fund, and 10% is held liquid to support immediate trainee needs. Qard hasan repayments re-enter the fund, so a single gift reaches trainee after trainee after trainee.
A gift to MedWaqf isn't a one-time act of charity — it is ṣadaqah jāriya, continuous charity. Every physician this fund helps train will go on to treat thousands of patients across a 30 to 40-year career. Every diagnosis, every life saved, every moment of relief — by the mercy of Allah, a share of the ajr for that work returns to you, the donor, and to those whose gifts preceded yours.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end — except three: a continuing charity, knowledge by which people benefit, or a righteous child who prays for them." — Sahih Muslim
"Who is it that will lend to Allah a goodly loan, so He will multiply it for him manifold?" — Qur'an 2:245
